Inclusive Rhythms Makaton is a therapy-based support programme designed to foster early communication skills in young children. By integrating SLT techniques, Makaton signing, and Play Therapy principles, this expert-led course creates a supportive environment for foundational learning. Who would this benefit? This class is for families who want to: • Boost Communication & Confidence: Helps children find their voice and build self-assurance in expressing themselves. • Learn Makaton Signs & Gestures: Teaches essential signs to bridge communication gaps and support understanding. • Engage through Play & Music: Uses rhythm, music, and play as natural, enjoyable vehicles for learning. • Develop Social Connection: Encourages interaction with peers and caregivers in a structured setting. Format: The sessions are run as small, supportive groups to ensure you and your child receive 1:1 focus and personalised attention.
Terms & Conditions
1. Programme Overview Inclusive Rhythms Makaton is an expert-led support programme for children aged 2-5. It is designed to foster early communication using SLT techniques, Makaton, and Play Therapy principles. Important: While this programme is therapy-based and supportive, it is an educational skills-building workshop and does not replace clinical Speech & Language Therapy or medical intervention. 2. Registration & Payment Enrolment covers the full scheduled cohort. Full payment and a completed booking form (including all medical and behavioural details) are required strictly in advance to secure a place. Fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced. 3. Cancellation Policy Withdrawal: To receive a full refund, you must notify us in writing at least 7 days prior to the first session. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance may incur an administration fee. Provider Cancellation: If we must cancel a session (e.g., staff illness), we will attempt to reschedule. If this is not possible, a pro-rata refund for that session will be issued. 4. Attendance & Make-up Sessions Consistent attendance is encouraged to build routine and familiarity. Please notify us of any absences in advance. Make-up sessions for classes missed due to illness or personal reasons are subject to availability and offered at the sole discretion of the management. 5. Supervision & Participation As this programme fosters social connection and communication for families, parents/carers are required to remain present and actively participate. You remain fully responsible for your child’s safety, behaviour, and personal care (including toileting) throughout the session. 6. Health, Safety & Liability Health: To protect vulnerable attendees, please do not attend if you or your child have a contagious illness. Liability: Parents must disclose all allergies or medical conditions on the booking form. Rokil is not liable for personal injury or property loss, except where caused by our proven negligence. 7. Media & Data Protection We may occasionally take photos/videos for promotional purposes. To opt-out, please clearly indicate this on your booking form.
